The Office was een waanzinnig succes en met Life on the Road doet Ricky Gervais een opvolging van David Brent nadat deze vertrokken is bij zijn vorige werkgever. Niet zo goed als The Office, maar het blijft wel interessant om de schrijnende (en bijwijlen grappige) frapatsen van Brent te volgen
