Onze opinie:
De derde en laatste Mad Max met Mel Gibson in de hoofdrol werd een absolute top titel, vooral vanwege niemand minder dan Tina Turner als Aunty Entity en een nog meer verwilderde wereld waarin het verhaal zich plaatsvindt. Spijtig genoeg wou George Miller duidelijk een groter publiek aanspreken waardoor het allemaal wat afgelikter en minder rauw voorgesteld wordt. Het gevolg is een film die het op zich niet slecht deed, maar niet kan tippen aan de vorige episodes.
