Cole, een negen jaar oude jongen, heeft een wel heel speciale kracht: hij kan dode mensen zien rondlopen die absoluut niet doorhebben dat ze dood zijn. Niemand gelooft hem echter dus gaat hij uiteindelijk maar praten met een psychiater die hem zou moeten helpen. Veel meer gaan we niet weggeven van de plot want anders zouden we teveel spoilers moeten vertellen.

Onze opinie:
The Sixth Sense is de topper waarmee M. Night Shyamalan zijn carriëre de hoogte in heeft kunnen krijgen en niet zonder reden. De acteerprestaties zijn subliem en hetzelfde kan gezegd worden van het verhaal dat vol met plot twists zit en je tot op het einde op de tip van je zetel zal houden.
